Evident Discovery’s Review platform is designed for ease-of–use, with powerful features which accelerate the document review process. After the document review is complete, reviewers can quickly produce documents in tiff or PDF format and industry standard load files, such as Summation and Concordance.

Review Environment: Evident’s review environment has the familiar look and feel of Microsoft Outlook. Users quickly learn to navigate the interface and begin reviewing documents in minutes. Evident’s review environment can be customized to fit the individual needs of each reviewer.

Organize Documents: Reviewers can organize documents into folders, and choose a folder style such as Check Box, Option or Standard. “One click” technology will easily add documents from searches and tags to folders. Restricted access enables users to keep documents private or update them as public to share with other authorized reviewers. Reviewers may submit batch print jobs or export documents for case administrators to initiate the production process.

 

Native Viewer: Review documents quickly in Evident’s integrated native viewer without requiring the native application to launch or the need to wait for the native file to download. View more than 500 file types and access multiple cases in parallel, while maintaining the documents from a previous case. Evident’s Synchronize Option allows the reviewer to load native files automatically or use the on-demand download option.

Redaction: Reviewers can easily redact documents or use built-in or customized annotations. Create and use case specific stamps, quick highlights or the track annotation history feature. Documents will be copied into an Annotation folder for quick review. Quickly review annotated documents that have been produced.

Tagging: Define decision tree tags based on case needs. Administrator can create, manage and grant access permissions to reviewers. Reviewers may then tag or bulk tag groups of documents in a single click. Reviewers may bulk tag documents directly from a folder or from search results.

Family Documents: Evident’s family document bar allows reviewers to identify all parent documents with their corresponding attachments. Reviewers can quickly bulk tag or copy the parent document and its children to folders.

Easy Navigation: Reviewers may use record navigation options to choose to download the full text, image and/or native documents based on the review needs. Each reviewer has the flexibility to choose his or her visible fields and order of each field.

Reviewer Notes and Discussion: Reviewer can add personalized notes to documents or start a conversation thread with other reviewers. Conversations are time stamped with each reviewer’s details for quick references. Documents with conversations are automatically added to the Notes folder for easy organizing and quick access. Notes and conversation threads can be produced in a load file while exporting productions.
